Freebie Friday | free prayer sheet download | St Francis - Channel of Peace

The Prayer of St Francis, often known by the words “Make me a channel of your peace,” is one of the most loved Christian prayers for peace, compassion and reconciliation. Although the prayer itself was written many centuries after the life of St Francis of Assisi, its message beautifully reflects the spirit of humility, love and service for which he is remembered.

Its words ask us not simply to pray for a more peaceful world, but to become instruments of that peace ourselves: bringing love where there is hatred, forgiveness where there is hurt, hope where there is despair and light where there is darkness.

It is a prayer that can be returned to again and again, particularly during difficult or uncertain times. Its simple message reminds us that some of the greatest changes begin quietly, through the way we treat, forgive, understand and care for one another.

We have created a free printable Prayer of St Francis sheet for anyone who would like to keep a copy at home, place it somewhere special, or share it with someone else. You can download your copy free of charge below.
